2026 WNBA All-Star Draft: Full Rosters and Breakdowns for Team Spoon and Team Coop

 

As 2026 WNBA All-Star Weekend continues to take its form, the rosters are set as Teresa Spoon and Cynthia Cooper have made their selections.

Who Has the Edge Heading into the All-Star Game?

Considering that we are still 10 days away from the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, it seems that Team Spoon already has a slight advantage. With Team Coop's Kelsey Plum still sidelined due to a lower left leg injury, they are already down one player. In times like this where All-Star Starters or Reserves are injured and unable to compete, we have seen in years past that the W will honor another player to join the roster while the original All-Star (in this case, Plum), will still retain the honor as All-Star. In the absence from Plum on the court, not only could she be a guide and source for Team Coop on the sidelines, but she could also bring her competitive fire to make the game that much more interesting. Arguably one of the most competitive and dedicated players in the league with her incredible scoring ability and simply just her character, Kelsey Plum will still be a joy to see on the sidelines as she will likely coach up some younger talent, while also cracking a few jokes. If the WNBA deems Team Coop a replacement in the roster for Plum, we may see players such as Kahleah Copper, Veronica Burton, or even Azzi Fudd make their way in to receive the 2026 WNBA All-Star honor. No matter what, although Kelsey Plum won't be able to literally leave her mark on the court, the matchup between Team Spoon and Team Coop is perfect for an entertaining night for WNBA fans across the globe.

Star Duos Fans Can't Wait to Watch

Returning as a duo from the 2025 WNBA All-Star Game, Angel Reese and Paige Bueckers will be teaming up once again. Also known as "Paigel," the dynamic between Reese and Bueckers is not only perfect for basketball, but also chemistry. There is no doubt that we will receive some comical behind the scenes footage of these two players together on Team Coop during All-Star Weekend. Also on Team Coop, Dominique Malonga will be so exciting to watch play with quite literally any of her teammate guards. We can only hope that we see a player like Paige Bueckers, Kelsey Mitchell, Marina Mabrey, or Sonia Citron come down the court and dish an alley-oop pass to Malonga for a dunk. 

Taking the discussion to Team Spoon, the talk of the town this All-Star Weekend will absolutely include Team Spoon's Courtney Williams. One half of the StudBudz, Williams will not only bring an intriguing 72-hour stream with former teammate, Natisha Hiedeman to All-Star Weekend, but also the joy and laughter everyone needs. A player I look forward to seeing team up with Williams is none other than A'ja Wilson. Although they also bring a great dynamic as one of the goats and an elite passing guard to the table, we are in for a good laugh with Williams and Wilson this year. All things considered, with Team Spoon and Team Coop both loaded with elite rosters, it will be interesting to see who shines and becomes the 2026 WNBA All-Star MVP, but arguably more importantly who has the best time! In fact, isn't All-Star Weekend about having fun?
