Azzi Fudd Silences Doubters with Back-to-Back 20-Point Performances

  With all the hate and controversy circulating around Azzi Fudd and whether or not she was worth being selected First Overall, Fudd proves any skeptics wrong with back-to-back 20-point games. A Breakout Stretch for Azzi Fudd May 24 at New York Liberty Beginning her stretch of impressive outings, Azzi Fudd put the world on notice in the Wings' matchup in New York against the Liberty. Coming off the bench, Fudd put up 24 points, leading the team in scoring alongside Paige Bueckers who also had 24 points. Fudd did so on a field-goal percentage of 60% and a remarkable 50% from beyond the arc. Coming off their third straight victory, the newly added Portland Fire are shaking up the league in ways no one expected. A Blazing Win Streak Taking complete control the entire matchup with the Connecticut Sun last night, the Portland Fire won their third straight game and have no signs of stopping. The past three games for the Fire have been nothing short of perfection. Consisting of selfless plays, full team efforts, and all-around dominance, this win streak began on the road as Portland took a monstrous victory over the fellow expansion team, Toronto Tempo, 99-80. Lead by one of the best performances in her career, Emily Engstler had things going for the Fire as she contributed 16 points and 7 rebounds on nearly 63% shooting. Los Angeles Sparks Sign Kate Martin

Just days after being waived by the Golden State Valkyries, Kate Martin has been signed to a Developmental Contract by the Los Angeles Sparks. Martin's Emotional Journey Martin's journey throughout her WNBA career has never been easy, but certainly not as emotionally challenging as it is now. In her rookie season with the Las Vegas Aces, Martin averaged 2.6 points and 1.6 rebounds per game. Although her stats weren't perfect, Martin became one of the league's favorite rookies for not only her character, but hard work on and off the court. After spending an extended time in free agency seemingly to struggle finding interest from a team, Natasha Cloud has landed in Chicago just days before the regular season. A New Cloud Lands in the Sky Recent Seasons in Cloud's Career Intending to enter her eleventh season in the W, Natasha Cloud became a free agent after the 2025 WNBA season. After playing for the Mystics for eight seasons (2015-2023), Natasha Cloud has found herself on a new team each year since 2023. Making her offensive presence known for the Phoenix Mercury in 2024, Cloud gained value when she headed to the New York Liberty for the 2025 season in a trade that also involved the Connecticut Sun.
